Golden Banana Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 6 pc ripe saba banana, peeled
  • 12 pc lumpia wrappers, each piece cut into 2
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 pc pandan leaves
  • 1 can (234 g) DEL MONTE Pineapple Chunks
  • 1/4 cup margarine

Cooking Procedures:

  • Slice each banana lengthwise into
  • Wrap each slice in lumpia wrapper and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Set aside.
  • Mix sugar, 1 cup water and pandan leaves. Cook for 20 minutes. Add DEL MONTE Pineapple Chunks and simmer uncovered until thick.
  • Add margarine and pour over fried banana rolls just before serving.
